Work Placements

We have student nurses from Brighton University, Surrey University, and Ministry of Defence students from University of Central England. Often the relationship between placement students and QAHH is a reciprocal one because where we provide the environment they also bring new techniques and academic perspectives that benefit our residents.

We also accept Adaptation students who bring knowledge from overseas

Some of our Registered Nurses have completed a Teaching and Assessing course in order for them to be Mentors to the student Nurses.

We also pride ourselves on our links with the community and are open to receive work experience students from local schools nd colleges who gain first hand experience in modern nursing and care practice and methods.
