Challenge Events this September

This September, the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home is honoured to benefit from two very exciting events being undertaken by some special supporters of the residents here at the Hospital Home.

Team 'Willpower' will be climbing one of Africa's highest mountains in aid of the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home's youngest resident, Will.

Will was only 18 when a near fatal cycling accident left him severely physically disabled. Having survived a coma for several weeks, Will's determination to recover has been the inspiration behind his family setting up 'Team Willpower'.

Now living at the Hospital Home for over 6 months, Will has already shown remarkable progress and this amazing climb aims to raise much needed funds for the Hospital Home.

Mount Kilimanjaro is almost 17,000 ft and Chris and Harry will take the 'Machame' route to the top, attempting to complete this gruelling climb in eight days. They are hoping to raise over £10,000 so please show your support by visiting www.justgiving.com/team-willpower-kilimanjaro.
