On Thursday 4 May, 15 teams competed to become quiz champions at The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home’s (QAHH) spring quiz night, and helped to raise £1,700 for the charity.

QAHH supporter and member of Chippingdale Cricket Club networking group, Pete Mansell, acted as quizmaster. He led the teams through 10 interactive rounds of questions, which included pictures and sound clips.
Three QAHH residents and their families also joined in the fun and lively quiz.

The winning team was ‘the Mixed Bunch’, who took home a trophy and their prize – a VIP night out at Gala Bingo.

Event organiser, Samantha Stokes, said, “From everyone here at QAHH, I’d like to thank Pete Mansell for being such a brilliant quizmaster. And thank you to everyone who came and took part and helped us to raise this fantastic amount of money for our residents’ care and rehabilitation.”
