Cycling in the rain to raise over £2,000 for ex-Service residents

The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home’s first charity Pedal Power! Bike Ride took place despite the bad weather on Sunday 24th June, the final day of Bike Week, the UK’s annual ‘celebration of cycling’.  Cyclists braved the torrential rain to complete a choice of 4 routes from 10 miles to the more challenging 44 miles, across the Sussex countryside.

On the evening of Thursday 14 December supporters filled Lancing College Chapel for The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home’s Christmas Carol Concert, raising over £1,400 for the charity.
