For the first time, the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home is working with 'Classic Tours' to bring you two exciting challenges to choose from.

London to Paris Cycle ride:
24–27 June 2011 or 9-12 September 2011

This long weekend challenge links two great European cities, London and Paris and covers around 300km in just three days. We cycle through undulating countryside towards the south coast, before crossing into France by ferry. From Dieppe, we continue through sleepy Normandy villages with some challenging hills to conquer along the way, until we reach the Eiffel Tower in Paris. You will enjoy some free time to explore this beautiful city before taking the Eurostar home.

Climb Kilimanjaro: 17–27 March 2011 or 15–25 September 2011

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and one of the largest free standing mountains in the world. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a challenge to say the least and is one of the mountains almost every trekker and mountaineer in the world wants to conquer! Kilimanjaro is more or less 24 miles wide and 49 miles long and dwarfs other regional landmarks like Mt. Meru and Mt. Kenya. Trekking from Marangu through dense forest and wild flowers to the Mount Kibo peak will take about 6 days but watching the sunrise at Gilman's Point (5685m above sea level) will be a moment to remember!

Whether you want to trek, jump or run for charity, our fundraising team are able to help you decide on the perfect challenge for you. With t-shirts, information packs and sponsorship forms, we will support you throughout your challenge. Call the team on 01903 218444 or email fundraising@qahh.org.uk for more information on events happening throughout 2010.
